My Vision and Expectation:

As an active member of the United National Party, I honoured the philosophy of Late President Mr.Ranasinghe Premadasa and continue to uphold that vision, but at this decisive moment according to my conscious I should devote myself for the creation of a trustworthy change “Wiswasaniya Wenasak“ for the whole nation. Democracy that has been imprisoned due to political cruelty should be saved and for the purpose of establishment of a just administration, I have thought of coming forward from a different party under a different symbol.

In order to bring forward to the country the real taste of democracy and give freedom to General Sarath Fonseka, which is the common expectation of the entire nation, without discrimination either politically or otherwise. For this purpose, I respectfully invite all of you in Moratuwa and in the Colombo District to join hands with me putting aside all differences.
