Landmarks in Life:

Studied at the St.Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa. Played for the College cricket team; represented the college team in first-class national cricket and wish to mention humbly that I was able to achieve a place in national cricket.

In 1982-83 I became the highest wicket-taker for under 19 all-Island section. Joined the Sri Lanka “A” Team for the tour of Pakistan in 1984.

At a time when payments were made to participants in Devision - 01 cricket, I represented without any charge for Bloomfield, Sebastianite; Moratuwa Sports Club, and the Wattala Old Antonians Sports Club. I have played for almost 20 years in First-class cricket for the progress and advancement of the sport.
